Google hosted a developer bootcamp event at the Google office in Hyderabad. The event was well attended by Startup Weekenders with mostly developers showing up for the event.

The event kicked off by Chaitanya introducing Startup Weekend. Uttam from Google then explained the Google philosophy for encouraging startup events.

Later on, we had a nice talk about Android development from Soham of Bangalore Android user group. Finally, we closed up with a talk on Mashups from Chaitanya.

To top things off, Google handed over some swag to take back home.

All in all, a well attended event and we got insights into some ideas which will be pitched during the Startup Weekend event. There were some really exciting ideas and can’t wait for the weekend to come.
